color guide

: : I just went through the entire color guide on domino magazine's website. I'm mainly trying to figure out a color for the bedroom. that seems like the most important color to me. the others I can go bold with, but the bedroom I want to have a calmness to, with maybe some color pops here and there.

I, of course, love this orange, especially paired with the beige. I could see something like this in the living room. maybe with a long stark white shelf running along the top edge of the beige. with frames, prints and paintings on top.
I love this really pale green. almost like celery. paired with the white molding. this might be suitable for the bedroom.
I am completely in love with this kelly green color. and so fresh with the stark white contrast. love it!! you guys see my problem yet? I love too many of these colors, I don't know how I will pick. maybe this for the kitchen or dining room.

I also like these two last greens. they might work for the bedroom.

Pale green? The first one? It's beige sis!

Go for something that soothes you - a place you won't mind waking up to if you feel a bit out of sorts, or a place which won't fight for a specific mood. Put the strong colours in a different room! Your bedroom is the one place you can't avoid going...

Love the site, thanks!

Love the jungle theme of the nursery - I saw a crib set at ElegantLinensPC.com that would match it perfectly. The giraffe is my favorite.

that last green is divine. especially with the red frames filled with the vintage illustrations - it's a nostalgic yet still modern palette.

As an Aussie not long back from a trip to the Czech Republic, Germany and France. The forest and greens particularly in Czech and southern Germany (even their wehat crops are an amazing variety of greens) gave me a new appreciation of green. The European greens seem to be a bit softer than ours. So have a nice green leather carry case for my Sony camera and a fresh appreciation for European fashion and house colours.

I'd like a splash of the second last green... perhaps just a feature wall. If I ever tired of that perhaps change it to an orange or red.

Never had much luck with green clothes or shirts... "blue and green should never be seen without a colour in between"
