: : my friend .katie. and I decided to start a blog together. in the dead of winter, tired of grey and black, we decided to celebrate COLOR and share it with those around us.
each day we challenge ourselves to put together a new color creation to brighten our moods, inspire ourselves and others. this has been our first week. these have been our most colorful outfits. it has been the brightest most cheerful week of winter.

I just painted my office two shades of grey and then, hmm, the desk. What to do? A two-wall built-in, meeting at the south corner, I found a redware red that required five coats plus three coats of poly, but whammo, I'm back typing, happily.

This is a great idea. You wouldn't believe (well maybe you can) just how dull people on the streetcar/subway in Toronto are.
I just discovered the English on-line shop Boden in the fall. Now I have 2 velvet jackets, one pea green and one mauve. 2 Skirts with egg shaped appliques around the hem. and a tunic that's pink,purple and brown.
